The Truth Shall Set Me Free?
So I just read a pretty awesome blog post on Michelle's blog...and I'm going to make my own copy of it here because I made me think and I really respect her for doing it.
These are 15 honest statements about myself:
1) I hurt people...way more often then I like to admit.
2) I lie...and not just to other people, to myself as well (this one is SO hard for me to admit).
3) Because I hurt people I'm afraid to let anyone REALLY know me.
4) I am WAY to picky when it comes to guys.
5) I dont take enough of the blame when I deserve it.
6) I can be way to sensitive.
7) I say hurtful things without thinking of the effects that they will have.
8) I like Hilary Duff...I really, really do.
9) I talk to the firewood as I'm bringing it in the house.
10) I have never actually tried to stop biting my nails.
11) I used to enjoy using people because I love feeling that I have power.
12) I try and make people like me.
13) I make wrong judgements.
14) I live in a fantasy world.
15) I can lose myself very easily.
Now I am going to make 15 true statements about some people in my life, in no particular order...
Eric) You are more than a friend, you are my family. I honestly do not believe that I would still be alive today without you. I am saddened that our time together is coming to and end but I truly believe that we will be friends for life. I love you oh so very much!
Ali) You and I have such a wonderful friendship...I can't even begin to explain how much it has meant to me. It's hard to find a friendship like ours in high school...I love that we dont have the same friends or the same interests or goals and yet, it works so well. Thanks for being the Betty to my Al. AND our blog SO rocks!
Amanda) You're 2 hours older than me and half an inch taller than me. You're forgetful and thoughtful and artistic and I completely love you. You changed me and my life more than I think you will ever know. You made an unbearable year bearable. You gave me friendship and a fresh start. You are one of those people who I instantly liked. Thanks for all the friends you left me here with. I miss you and I hope your life is going amazing. Here's to you, you wonderful girl, you are truly a beautiful person!
Afshin) Who would have thought that you and I would become so close? You know that I tell you more than I tell anyone. We seem to be very good at creating amazing moments and you have AWESOME taste in music. You havn't drowned yet...
Omid) I less than three you. You give me sweet dreams. What can I say? You are one of my fave. people on the planet. Somehow we just connect. You always tell me how it is and I respect that so much. Dont ever take crap from anyone...you are so awesome just the way you are!
Jai) Kid, you and I have some kinda crazy connection! The second I touched your hand I knew we would be friends. Your music is beautiful, as are you. Thank you for the wonderful conversations.
Danny) I cant believe we've never met! 3 weeks! You make me laugh more than anyone ever has. I am blown away by your sweetness and straight forwardness. You know how I feel about your music.
Chris) So we've finally met...and it was well worth the wait. You get me in such an awesome way. So glad you decided to come online and tell me Rick was a loser...lol. What a great way to meet. Oh, and once again...you have the prettiest eyes! Cant wait to see you again!
Rick) In the beginning your conversation blew me away...especially considering that I only knew you as Spencer's friend who did the sexy tango fight scene in tight jeans and cowboy boots. As we got closer I began to love the poems and storys as well as all the times you'd come on webcam and look totally different. I admire so much how direct you are and they way that you say how you feel. You're my handsome prince...thanks for being there whenever I need to talk or whenever I need to be stupid. :) <3 Oh, and your blog rocks my socks...thanks for the inspiration!

Nabil) For some reason, I dont regret any of it. You have been the one for me. You drive me absolutely completely insane but I love you and I think I probably always will. No one else understands. You changed me in so many ways and I am so glad we got to grow up together like that. I think that sometimes we play down our realtionship but in my heart I know we had something real. I love you sweet boy. Dont lose your wonderful sensitivity. I am so glad you shared 14 months of your life with me.
